Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication and effective collaboration on high performing teams
  • Coordinate and facilitate Scrum Activites (Sprints, Retrospective, Planning, Review meetings and daily stand-ups, Backlog Refinement)
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Resolve/Unblock blockers / work to remove obstacles
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

Requirements

  • Servant leadership and facilitator mindset
  • Deep understanding of Agile approach
  • Strong working knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, such as Definition of Done, User Stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
  • Knowledge of other Agile frameworks – Kanban etc
  • Strong ability to capture technical requirements
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
  • Experience running technical software development projects
  • Experience in a Scrum Master role
  • Experience in an SDLC environment
  • Ability to understand basic technical concepts – deployments, devops, CI/CD, code commits, software testing, role of QA

Nice To Have

  • Scrum master certification- CSM, PSM
  • CS/Technical background or degree
